Cooper-Hewitt, Museum of Design

Cooper-Hewitt Museum is the official design memory of the United States. Run by the Smithsonian Institute since 1967, the museum is the only institution of its kind. Four curatorial departments: Product Design and Decorative Arts; Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design; Textiles; and Wall Coverings cover enormous territory. Did I mention it rocks?
