You: “Um, yeah.”
Dad: (holding a box) “Can you scan these so I can give copies to Uncle Alfonse at the Fourth of July bbq.”
You: (assuming he means 12-20 photos) “Sure. No problem.”
Dad: “I’ve got a few more of these boxes in the garage…”

Design as Social Comment (or) Fractured Fairy Tales

Huh? Really? Jarvie wants to comment upon our disposable culture? Can’t you just say it looks cool? Why do you have to bring a cultural criticism into it that is not reflected in the rest of your work?
